Pics from Austin/Oslo Theatre Schools Collaboration

The following is a visual insight into the training at Austin Conservatory of Professional Arts and The International Theatre Academy Norway. I hope you enjoy this slide show.

Austin Conservatory (ACPA) spends the first semester of their academic year at TITAN Teaterskole in Oslo, Norway on the Hart Conservatories AS educational exchange program. This program creates a bridge between two countries, two cities and two schools. This year, Austin Conservatory students have studied at TITAN in Oslo and TITAN students from Oslo will study at ACPA this summer in an international summer intensive program in Austin, TX. The two schools, both created by Jim Hart, serve as sister schools to each other. “We look forward to years of cultural and artistic exchange between Austin and Oslo”, says Hart.

These pics were taken over a four month period from September to December of 2010 (1st Semester of the 2010/11 academic year).

The students have accomplished so much. So many shows, performances, guest artists and a large grand opening for our new space, which had the American Ambassador to Norway, Barry White, in attendance.

Enjoy and thanks for looking!
